Monitoring of Movements

The study of movements is divided by type and usually occurs in two precisely codified phases that require:
  • the identification, delimitation, and classification of the instability;
  • the verification of the state of evolution by means of measuring both surface and underground movements;
  • the analysis and assessment of potential scenarios of evolution the carrying out of risk mitigation interventions.
  • the study or prevention of a moving structure is generally accompanied by verification studies in order to find millimetric shifts through the measurement and use of fixed benchmarks of a suitable type installed directly on the structure to be monitored.
